Special Edition: Tool’s of the Trade
No, it’s not Tuesday, but it is my birthday today wouldn’t you know it JP got me some top notch tools for presents! I spend a lot of time on my computer whether it’s working, creating recipes, organizing my photos, writing, video chatting or working on my blog. My first computer was the Apple ibook back in 1999. Do you remember those bubbly fun looking laptops? Mine came in turquoise. I have had an Apple ever since upgrading the the Macbook pro over the years. My current computer was on it’s last legs so JP got me the new Macbook Pro with Retina! Words can’t even describe how stoked I am and how amazing this computer is. The display is so clear and vibrant, it feels like it runs on warp speed compared to my last computer, it’s faster, smaller and lighter! I will be putting this thing to some good use! After getting new knives from Grandpa Ross for our wedding we both realized the difference having good knives were and since I’m always preparing food, drinks and creating in the kitchen JP got me new knives for our house in Encinitas. He got me a chef’s knife, a paring knife, and a cleaver made by Global. Made in Japan they were the first one-piece stainless steel knives to be made. They are not only sleek and elegant looking but super sharp, easy to handle and precise. You may be wondering why a cleaver. It’s not even for meat or bones it’s so we can chop open coconuts! Thanks JP!
