o Like I said there was too much watermelon to included everything I made in Watermelon week so here is another smoothie recipe I made from the Watermelon Week. For this recipe I used fresh peaches but I have also made it with frozen peaches and frozen banana which is a frostier version. I was stoked to use some rainbow chard from the garden for this recipe but spinach is a good alternative.
Watermelon Banana Peach Green Smoothie
2 C watermelon chunks
1 ripe bananas
1 peach, quartered, frozen or fresh
2 C packed chard (or other mild greens like lettuce, baby spinach etc)
- Place all ingredients into the Vita-Mix container(or blender) in the order listed and secure lid with plunger. Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High. Blend for 30 seconds.
